When you think of ‘trust exercises', you ten to think of people falling in to their colleagues' outstretched arms or all working together to draw a pretty picture.
Get out of the classroom and face bigger challenges. Climbing and Abseiling team building combines trust exercises with dizzying heights where no one is yawning and looking at their watch. Your team will race and clamber to the top of massive climbing walls or head outdoors to take on real rockfaces. It's not about time or speed (although races can be set for more daring groups), it's about trying something new and doing it together.
You'll meet expert instructors on the day who'll give you a safety briefing and show you the ropes (literally!) and teach you the essential knots. Then, you'll ‘buddy up' into pairs and have a go at scaling the easier routes and learn some stellar climbing techniques.
Abseiling is the fun part. Lean back and let your team mate have total support as you sail back down to the ground. You'll also learn how to ‘belay' and support your team mate from the ground and watch them Spiderman-itup the wall.
Climbing & Abseiling team building challenge is all about trust; you're going to have to put your absolute faith into your team mates as they support your rope and pick up the slack. They'll also be able to help you get from A to B without you having to play Twister to get from one side of the wall to the other.
